Jerry, as most knew him, was an uncomplicated, honorable man, who had an impact on so many lives. Whether spending his weekends helping friends and family on home improvement projects or working for the many contractors who were so blessed to have him, Jerry’s identity was synonymous with hard work. In fact, he felt that he had cheated anyone who hired him if he did not give them a day and a half’s work for a day’s pay.
He loved his family and friends and would do anything for them. In fact, while he lost his first wife (Isabella) nearly 42 years ago, he was fortunate enough to remarry a wonderful woman (Simone) who adored him. He had three children who followed in his dedication to family, making sure they were there for him in his time of need.
Virtually everything his kids did was inspired by their desire to make him proud.
He was also adored by his two daughters-in-law (Lorraine and Lauren), while having the good fortune of a stepdaughter and her husband, Denise and Ron.
He leaves behind more than his wife and kids. He is the proud grandfather of 8 (Tom, Christopher, Danny, John, Joey, Mark, Michael, and Amber) and was sadly predeceased by two other grandchildren, Jeffrey and Jaclyn. His family extended to another generation, with great grandchildren Cole, Elijah, Jayden, Connor, and Nicholas.
Today, the world is a lesser place without him.
