Grace Atalese, 91, died peacefully on Monday November 5, surrounded by her family. Born in New York City she resided in Beach Haven for the past 26 years. Predeceased by her son, Richard, she is survived by her husband of 69 years, Vincent, 2 daughters, Barbara Skoczylas and her husband, Edward, and Patricia Atalese; A son, Vincent, and his wife Lynda, a brother Frank, a sister, Lucy, and 8 grandchildren. Calling hours will be Thursday, Nov 8, from 10: AM until 12:PM, at the Thos L. Shinn Funeral Home 10 Hilliard Dr. Manahawkin, NJ 08050. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 PM at St. Mary of the Pines RC Church Bishop Lane in Manahawkin 08050. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to: St. Francis of Assisi, 4700 Beach Blvd. Brant Beach, NJ 08008. Condolences may be sent to www.shinnfuneralhome.com

Grace was a lovely lady. Michael and I send our love and prayers to Vince and his great family in your time of sadness. We are privileged to have known her during our five years as neighbors on West Ramapo Lane. May God continue to comfort and bless the Atalese family.
