Gregory Mower, 62, of Ship Bottom passed away Wednesday October 9th surrounded by his family. Born to Ethel and Donald Mower, he worked as a maintenance coordinator at the Sunoco chemical plant in Philadelphia from which he retired in 2000. He served on the Beach Haven First Aid Squad and was a member of the Ship Bottom Volunteer Fire Company. He was an avid surf fisherman who loved the sun, swimming, boating, the smell of low tide as well as the history of Long Beach Island.
Mr. Mower is survived by his wife Lisa and daughter, Anna, at home; daughter Kristin Mederos; son Gregory Jr.; mother Ethel; sister Dianne Williams; brothers Mark and Russell; and grandsons Cole and Jace Mederos. He was predeceased by his father, Donald; his brother Donald Jr. and brother Harry.
The family will receive visitors from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Sunday October 20th at Thos. L. Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Drive, Manahawkin, NJ 08050.

Mower Family....I will always have wonderful memories of Greg. Fishing together, some hunting and countless hrs and days helping him on his homes. He was a great man and I will always miss him.
