Mrs. Sweeney is formerly Helen F. Robinson of Patchogue NY, born October 25, 1931 and married to Arthur M. Sweeney. They met while working for the US
Government in Japan after both served in the Korean War. Helen was in the Woman’s Army Corps from 1950 to 1953.
She leaves behind two children, Joseph A. Sweeney and his wife Lisa of Thomasville, PA and Elaine M. Konelmann and her husband Rodney, along with their children Sarah J and Rodney A. Her grandson is currently serving in the United States Navy. She is also survived by her sister Sadie Stepnoski.
