Born on May 26th 1967 He was 55 years old.
James was a 1985 graduated from Millburn High School, he then attended Paul Smith's College.
A picture framer by trade and then later in life a sous chef for several restaurants.
Jimmy had a passion for cooking, you would know this if you ever ate his London broil at a JETS tailgate party. He was always learning new recipes and honing his craft of cooking.
He was a wealth of knowledge and would read everything he could get his hands on, everything! This made him an excellent trivia player.
Like the rest of our family Jimmy was a disappointed JETS fan and would never miss a game. He bled "Green" and would go to a game every time we could get tickets.
He was a proud NY Islanders and NY Mets fan too.
Jimmy loved the outdoors, especially kayaking and he was a real weather bug. He kept a log of the weather changes daily and had a knack for predicting storms.
Jimmy was one hell of an artist, he had an eye for modern art, What he could do with a pen and a piece of paper would amaze us all.
He loved music especially Heavy Metal and it was a goal of his to see the many bands that he had seen in his lifetime. He was so very proud that he and Jeff had "snuck" through some security lines to hang out with some of his favorite bands. But the day he got to hang out with Motörhead on their tourbus for an hour was probably the happiest he had ever been.
Jimmy was a great Uncle Jimmy to Kathryn and Addison. He always had time to help them create something or play games like tenzies or do puzzles. They loved their Uncle Jimmy.
James now joins his Mom Alexis in heaven and is survived by his Father James J,Brother Jeff, Sister in law Tracy, Nieces Kathryn and Addison, many Aunts, Uncle's, Cousins, friends and his beloved Cat Rosie. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
