Jean Hayzler

Jean Hayzler, 92, of Manahawkin passed away peacefully with her family by her side on January 6, 2014. Born in Passaic, Jean had lived in Clifton before moving to Manahawkin 17 years ago. She was an Executive Secretary for Mutual of New York, Manhattan for 42 years until her retirement in 1982.

Jean was pre-deceased by her husband George in 2002, and is survived by her loving sons, Richard and his wife Janet of Sussex County and Jeffrey and his wife Debra of NJ., three devoted grandchildren, Bryan, Richard and his wife Kristen, Robert and his wife Carly, three beautiful great grandchildren, Ryan, Brooke and Nathan.

Visitation will be held Friday January 10, 2014 from 10:00 am -12:00 pm at the Thos L. Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Drive Manahawkin, NJ with Services to begin at 12:00pm. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Manahawkin.
