Jerome V Gries

He is survived by his beloved wife of 70 years, Elizabeth, his sons; Richard Gries and his wife Sharon, Kenneth Gries and his wife Lisa and Donald and his wife Deborah. Jerome cherished his grandchildren; Danielle and her husband Andrew Triolo, , Kyle Gries and his wife Nicole, Brandon Gries (predeceased) and Heather Rose Gries. Jerome adored his three great-grandsons; Maverick James Gries, Dominic Steele Triolo and Milo Reign Gries.

Jerome proudly serviced his country in the U.S. Air Force. He went on to a successful career with the Thomas & Betts Corporation starting as an electrician and retiring as a Project Manager after 43 years of service.

He enjoyed traveling with his loving wife Elizabeth. Jerome had a passion for photography and was an avid fan of the New York Giants, and enjoyed spending time with his family.

A visitation will be held at St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church 100 Bishop Lane, Manahawkin, NJ on Tuesday, November 22 at 10:00a.m. with Mass at 11:00a.m., committal to follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Beachview Ave., Manahawkin, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jerome’s name may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the American Red Cross.
