He is survived by Joyce, his beloved wife of 22 years, his children; John Jr. (Magda), David (Lisa) and Tara Kamian (Harvey), his stepdaughters; Jacqueline D’Ercole, Donna Cullari, Jill Pansini (David) and Jennifer Joy Cullari. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Alison, Jonathan, Cameron, Connor, Delaney, Travis, Jessica, Tyler, Ashley, Dylan, Stephanie, Sloane, and Madison, his brother Ronald (Barbara), his brothers-in-law Andrew Horvath and Ray Patterson and his many nieces and nephews.
He was a Marine veteran who proudly served his country.
John worked in the pressroom for the Bergen Record in both Hackensack and Rockaway, from where he retired.
He enjoyed golfing and watching sports on TV. He was an avid Giants fan. Above all else, the time he spent with his family and friends were his happiest times. He was predeceased by his buddy and companion Jinx the cat.
A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, October 17, 2021 from 3:00pm-5:00pm at the Thos L. Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Dr., Manahawkin, NJ, followed by a funeral home service at 4:30pm.
