He was predeceased by his daughter Christine (Chrissy) Simone.
Joseph is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Phyllis, his loving daughter Cheryl and his grandchildren Nicholas Simone and Reanna Simone.
Formerly from New Providence, NJ where he and Phyllis raised their daughters, he was the owner and operator of Wall-to-Wall Carpeting. He was also a volunteer firefighter for the New Providence Fire Department, serving from 1974 to 2007. He enjoyed helping people and loved being a firefighter.
