Kevin McGrogan

Kevin was a beloved son to Barry and Patricia; beloved brother to Matthew, Victoria and Patrick; beloved brother-in-law to Jennifer and Brittany; and a most loving uncle “Kiki” to Jackson and Giselle.

Kevin was born with joy in his heart, letting out contagious giggles as a baby that developed into a wonderful sense of humor as he grew older. Kevin always brightened the room, making us laugh, intended or not. Kevin was sensitive to others’ challenges and did his best to help them, whether it was with stray animals, the homeless, or those that shared his battle.

Kevin graduated High School and attended technical school for auto mechanics. He was kind, humble and always took care of others first. He touched the lives of many people. Kevin loved God and carried the light always.

Kevin left this world at too young of an age and will be immensely missed by his surviving family.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, September 24, 2025, from 9:30am-11:30am at Thos L. Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Dr., Manahawkin, NJ. A Mass will be held at 12:00pm at St. Mary’s Church. W. Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Beachview Ave., Manahawkin, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations in Kevin’s name be sent to an animal shelter or a homeless shelter of your choice.
