Kimberley Ann Palmerson

June 16, 1967 – August 18, 2025

Kimberley Ann Palmerson, 58, of Barnegat, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home on August 18, 2025.

Born on June 16, 1967, in Belleville, New Jersey, Kimberley grew up in Lakewood and went on to live in several towns across the Jersey Shore, including Toms River and Bayville, before settling in Barnegat. She was formerly married to Joseph R. Palmerson, with whom she shared two beloved sons, Joseph and Steven.

Kimberley was a dedicated professional who most recently worked for the Township of Egg Harbor, New Jersey. Outside of work, she had a deep love for animals, a passion for motorcycles, and a keen eye for fashion. She found great joy in spending time with her family and friends, especially during their cherished trips to the Outer Banks.

Those who knew Kimberley will remember her as strong-willed, caring, funny, and endlessly creative. She had a spirited personality and a warm heart that left a lasting impact on everyone around her.

She is survived by her mother Patricia Covone and her father John Covone. She also leaves behind two sisters: Kelly and her husband Timothy, as well as Trisha and her husband Sean. Kimberley is survived by her beloved sons: Joseph, his wife Brittany, and Steven. Kimberley also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and countless friends whom she adored.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, August 24, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Thos. L. Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Drive, Manahawkin, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kimberley’s memory to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered
