Leif Svensen

Leif is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Connie, his loving children; Karen Baldwin and her husband Dale, Leif Martin Svensen III and his wife Joyce, Keith Svensen, and Erik Svensen and his wife Kelli. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Jill Davila and her husband Luis, Todd Baldwin and his wife Nichole, Lauren Svensen Daniels and her husband Charles "Trey", Emily Svensen, Olin Svensen, Sofie Svensen, Bryce Svensen and Brayden Svensen. And also, his great grandchildren Ella Davila, Austin Baldwin, and Cameron Baldwin.

Leif was a dock builder and carpenter by trade, he also enjoyed being a handyman around the house and helping family and friends with his carpentry expertise. He enjoyed fishing, photography, and family.

Leif also loved the wild animals around the neighborhood and would feed them every day. He saved one feral cat during Hurricane Sandy, Squirt, who is still with us today.

A Visitation will be held Friday, November 18, 2022 from 4:00pm-8:00pm at Thos L. Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Dr., Manahawkin. A service will be held at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 5800 Long Beach Blvd, Brant Beach on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 11:00am. Light appetizers and refreshments to follow the service in the church hall.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Leif’s name be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
