Lenny was not only one of our favorite contractors but also a very good friend. He always made us laugh as he walked up and down the hallway. We enjoyed listening to his many stories he told.  He will be deeply missed but never forgotten! Lenny will always be in our hearts. I am sure we will still hear him on the radio saying GO FOR 64 at 
Shell Oil in Sewaren.

Truly a Gentlemen & worked with my Husband Daniel @ PICS Inc & they were able to get every job done together; Daniel and I have beautiful memories;   Sadly missed but great memories of Lenny Dan still talks about. Photos I pulled from Lenny’s Facebook. Lenny worked with my husband Tim for 18 yrs. Lenny moved down to Manahawkin 8 yrs ago and lives only a few blocks over from us. Lenny and Joyce have been dinner guest at our home many times.  Most Saturdays after  Lenny would take his dog Connor for a walk he’d take Connor  home, then would make his way over to our house.  He spent many afternoon over the last 8 yrs sitting out on our deck talking and snoozing. He always had stories to tell about his days growing up in Elizabeth. Lots of crazy, fun motorcycle stories. He and Tim would go shooting and talk about many different things, Lenny was a gun enthusiast, as well as motorcycles! He had a great work ethic still going in 2 days a week. He was a good soul with loud opinions, but truly an all round great person. He leaves behind his significant other Joyce Spellman of 25 yrs, a son Tom Bartell in Philly and 2 grandsons, nephews and nieces and also his dog Connor… Lenny, Tim and I were grateful for your friendship and the good times hanging out on the deck or in our garage.. We know you’ll be  coming in hot and riding fast in heaven and best of all you will be greeted by Hercules.. Lenny’s other favorite dog. RIP Lenny you will be sadly missed by many!!

Lenny was my first husband and a devoted father of Tom Bartell.  Len brought Tom to chess clubs when he was only six years old to play with the grown ups.  This head start helped to make Tom the International Master he is today.  Len was loved and he will be missed by his family and friends.

Lenny and I attended college together in NJ and after decades of non contact we reunited about 15 years ago and had lunch when I would return back home for family visits.. We both enjoyed speaking weekly about our lives and our history together. He will be missed.....God Bless good friend!
