Madeline Frances Ford

Madeline “Maddie” Ford, 73 of Little Egg Harbor passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, May 9th. She was born Madeline Frances Storm on April 26, 1939 in Neptune, NJ. She was raised in Asbury Park and also resided in Spring Lake Heights and Manahawkin. Maddie worked many years in the catering industry before becoming very active in social services and counseling. Her last place of employment was New Beginnings. Maddie was a member of The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit.

She was predeceased by her parents, Helen and Francis Storm, and her sister Frances Hagerman. Madeline is survived by her sister, Agnes Moore of Brick, daughter and son-in law Sandra and Steve Manger of Little Egg Harbor, her son and daughter-in-law William and Jennifer Evans of Jackson, her daughter Christine Garofalo of Brick, and her son James Evans of Manahawkin, her much loved grandchildren, Stephen Manger, Allison Becker, Michael Garofalo, Will Evans, Raychel Frye and Ryan Evans, and her cherished great-grandchildren Sasha and Anna Manger. Maddie was loved by all that knew her and will be greatly missed, but her memory will always be in our hearts.

There will be a Memorial Service held on Friday, May 18th at 11 a.m. at The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, 333 North Main Street, Manahawkin. Inurnment will take place at St. Catharine’s Cemetery, 1100 West Chicago Boulevard, Sea Girt immediately following the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Maddie’s memory to either the Alzheimer’s Association or The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit in Manahawkin
