I worked with Marge many years at Southern and have many fond memories of her. I will miss her and think of her often especially around St. Patty's Day. She made the best Irish Soda Bread.

I worked with Margie for many years and she was always Margie. There was no pretense, no artifice, no aires... she was always herself. I think about her as I write and a smile comes to ny face.

Marge was a beautiful person. She was so loving and kind. She gave so much to others. We loved her wit and humor. We always laughed a ton when we were with her.She made us feel good about ourselves.

Marge will be missed by me and everyone else in the neighborhood as well as others. She was the kindest and friendliness person in the world. I'm sure she is the same way with the angels in heaven.

Dear Bob, Mark and Craig, I am sorry to hear about Marge. She was a wonderful person. I can remember all the times I spent with her growing up. She definitely made a good milkshake.

My thoughts are with your family during this difficult time.  I am sorry I could not be with her because I am out of state.  Marge was a special friend of my from Southern.  She was the first to start a collection for any one that was in need during a hardship they had to handle.  I will always cherish the memories of Margie O, my dear friend.

I just found out about your mom's passing tonight.  I am so sorry for your loss and our loss.  I say our loss, as we have all lost a very special person.  I am sitting here thinking of all the beautiful memories.  I worked with your dad for years, and always loved spending time with your parents.  I loved watching the two of you grow and always smiled when your parents talked about your achievements!~

I know you know that your mom loved you boys more than life.  Both of your parents have always lived for you and have always been so proud of the fine men you have become.

I will never forget your mom's beautiful smile and wonderful sense of humor; what a beautiful woman – inside and out.

The love your parents shared for each other was always so special to witness.

I have many fond memories of spending time at your house when we were teens, where Mrs. O always treated me as one of the family.  Although I hadn't seen her in years, when we spoke last year it was just as I had talked with her the day before.  She greeted me with her usual ribbing, and that's what I will remember most of her: her humor, her generosity and huge heart.  Sending much love to your family from mine in your time of need. Margie was my friend for over 35 years.  She was someone you could always count on.   She was smart, witty, funny, outspoken but still vulnerable and compassionate.  She loved life and was always on the go.  If she could lend a hand, she would.  Her family was her pride and joy, and now they a special angel to watch over them.   My mother used to call her "Irish Eyes".  She said Margie's eyes twinkled when she laughed.  I will miss that laugh - I will miss her.

It has been many years since we last saw each other. I was shocked and saddened to read that Marge had passed. I started thinking back to when we worked together and what a fun time that was. Your children were young and you had just moved. I remember how you went out of your way to get a particular wallpaper that had been discontinued because Marge loved it so much at the old house. You went to great lengths to get that wallpaper and I was impressed at how much a man would go out of his way just to make sure his wife was happy about a thing as simple as wallpaper. I can just remember you two always happy and laughing whenever there were company get togethers. In fact the only memories I have of Marge are ones of her laughing with us. I am sorry if she suffered. I have lost several family members to the disease and it never ceases to amaze me how they become stronger than the people around them. You are blessed with a beautiful family and grandchildren and lots of wonderful memories. Please remember that just because someone has to leave an earthly body does not mean their spirit dies. Marge's spirit lives on and remains with you and your family. Continue to acknowledge her each and every day and she will always stay close. Wishing all of you  God's peace at this difficult time and hope that in the days ahead wonderful memories will comfort you.

   I thank God for giving me the pleasure of being your friend all these years.  You were unlike anyone I have ever met.  You were a "second Mom" to me.  I will never forget all of your thoughtfulness--from all the beautiful cards, coupons and recipes you shared to all the times you helped share my family milestones, etc.  We certainly laughed about some of the things that happened in our office at times! I will miss bringing my granddaughter to see you and yearly visits to the beach.  I will miss you very much, but you will remain in my heart forever.

To Bob and his incredible family.  We will all miss Margie.  I loved working with Margie 3 years when we did NAEP.  She was always someone who would listen and make me feel special. Your courage over the past year was impressive. I know you're not suffering any longer, but the rest of us are left with heavy hearts.

To say that you were my mother in law would be a huge understatement.  You were one of my dearest friends. When you marry into the Olkiewicz family, you don't just get an amazing husband, you get the unconditional love and support from two amazing parents. We spoke on the phone everyday; sometimes multiple times. I called you for advice, sales, how to clean things, and where to get specific items. We laugh. We cry. We do nails. We shop. No one will ever fill the void in my heart that you held. You are so caring, so giving, so genuine and sincere. You are truly one of a kind. And as for being a grandmother, WOW, you broke the mold. Packages were sent at least once a month.  Cards came for every holiday and occasion. You were involved in every aspect of the boys' lives.  As I look around my house, so many things I have are from you...pots, pans, candles; the list goes on. Every where I look, there is a constant reminder of you.  The world is a better place just by having you in it for 68 years, and I am a better person just for knowing you. Our loss is Heavan's gain. Rest peacefully Margie, and I promise from this day forward, I will use coupons. You are not gone. You are in our hearts forever. Love you, Marge...life will not be the same without you.

Marge, my beautiful friend for the last 45 years.  I will always miss you.  We had so many great times, wonderful escapades, and hearty belly laughs.  You were my constant at the shore.  The beach will never be the same without you there to sit with, laugh with, and have you constantly coax (force) me into the surf.  Everyone was welcome at your home and could never leave there empty handed.  You were thoughtful, kind and so generous.  I will miss your words of wisdom and most of all our "talks".  Your passion and loyalty was so strong for your family and friends.  You were a protector of all you loved.  I will smile when I remember the four of us playing games around your table.  We would laugh until our stomachs ached.  You always had the priceless comments.  When I went to your home yesterday, it was hard not seeing you there and I thought about how you always had my favorite candy in the dish by your chair.  As always, a personal treat.  I pray in the days to come that Bob will know that his strength, compassion, patience, and unending love in his caregiving was his greatest gift to you. I will miss you my dear Irish friend. You gave so much to those who needed a helping hand and a kind word.  Bob, your boys and grandchildren were so very lucky to have you in their lives.  You did a great job with them.  This fellow Irishman will always remember you and your loving heart.

Family and Friends,

Words can't do justice to what an incredible person my Mom was.  The first things that come to my mind when remembering my Mom are Wife, Mother and Grandma.  She did such an incredible job at all of them it would be impossible to put them in order.  I thank her for showing me how to care for others and how to be a great parent.  Her grandchildren were the joy of her life and they will have the best memories of the coolest Grandma ever to grace this planet.  

As always, Mom fought hard and battled this awful disease not for her but for those who wanted her in our lives.  I thank her for all of the joy she has provided to me, my dad, my brother, my family and every one that knew her.  Her generosity and caring will never be forgotten.

My mother's love will be forever.  Nothing can take it away from me.  Her love lives in my heart and memories and will always be a part of all that I do.  God rest her soul and I thank her for the best 44 years a son could ask for. 

I love you Mom and my heart will ache every day going forward as I miss you more than I thought was possible.  I know that you will be my guardian angel and the memories of your love and the fun we had together will comfort me going forward.

The world lost THE most incredible, kind and beautiful person in my Mom this past Thursday.  I lost my Mom, my best friend and my biggest fan.  Watching her battle cancer made me sad, but it made me proud of her courage and bravery as well.  She impacted so many peoples lives and was the most selfless, genuine person I've ever met.  She truly understood what family was all about and always put us (my Dad, brother and I) first.  Thanks Mom for teaching me to be a good man, teaching me to treat others with kindness and most importantly for teaching me about life.  You will always live on in my heart and the hearts of those whose lives you impacted.  Your love for life was contagious, your love for your family was unconditional.  I love you more than words can explain and will miss you so much.  Heaven is a much better place these days no doubt...say hi to my boy Raleigh for me and don't give him too many treats.  Go Irish! Grandma,

I don't know where to start because you have done so much for me.  I will always remember you and pray for you.  But mostly, I will remember how great of a Grandma you were.  Thanks for already working your magic in Heaven with the Irish beating Syracuse and me winning the basketball tournament in my grade.  I wish this would have never happened and you could be with me forever.  I know you are always going to be watching over me to help me make good decisions.  I am glad I got to see you after Christmas and it was the best New Years I will ever have just hanging out and playing games with you.  I miss you more than anything.

Grandma,

You were the best Grandma ever.  There is nobody that is ever going to be as thoughtful, caring and giving as you.  You were also a very funny Grandma and I am going to miss you so much.  I enjoyed talking to you and playing with you whenever you would come visit.  Whenever I needed help in anything, you were the first to help me.  I will miss you every day and thank you for getting with God to help the Notre Dame Fighting Irish beat #1 Syracuse Orange tonight.
