Margaret Reed

Margaret Reed, born on September 16, 1936, in New Jersey, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2025, at the Seacrest Village Rehab center in Little Egg Harbor N.J., formally of Stafford by the Bay, in Manahawkin before moving to Barnegat with her daughter and son-in law .She enjoyed playing cards and going to Atlantic City with her friends.

Mrs. Reed lived in Belleville, NJ before moving to Manahawkin in 2010. She is the wife of the late Marcus Reed, and had 5 sisters and 1 brother, who passed prior to her.

She is survived by her beloved children Janet And her husband Henry, Donna and her husband George and Marc and his wife Elsa. Margaret has 4 Grandchildren Jeff, Cassandra,(,Dan), Amanda, (Anthony), Ashley (Joe), 2 Great Grand children Nolan and Sylvia and many Nieces and Nephews

Visitation services will be held at Thos L. Shinn Funeral Home, located at 10 Hilliard Drive, Manahawkin, NJ 08050, on December 4, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

A religious ceremony will take place at the same location on December 5, 2025, from 9:30 am to 10:00 am.
