Marie Ann Peters of Manahawkin, formally of River Vale, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2014. Born in Rockaway Beach, Marie lived in Oradell and River Vale before settling in Manahawkin. A graduate of River Dell High School, she worked for the River Vale and Stafford Boards of Education. Marie is survived by her husband of forty-five years, Richard, her children Jackie and Jeff, her grandchildren, Jack, Cole, and Brody, her sister Andrea, and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Sunday, November 9, 2014 from 1-3 at Thos L Shinn Funeral Home,10 Hilliard Dr. Manahawkin, NJ. Interment will be held 12:30pm on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ
