Marion I Mollica

She and William moved to Staten Island, NY where they raised their 4 children, moving to Perry’s Lake in Manahawkin, NJ 18 years ago.

She was predeceased in 2022 by her beloved husband of 64 years, William. Marion is survived by her devoted children; William and his wife Mary, RoseAnn Pellechia and her husband Anthony, Joseph, and Marissa Velazquez and her husband Hector. She is also survived by her 7 cherished grandchildren, her 5 precious great-grandchildren, her sister-in-law Cecilia Mollica and several loving nieces and nephews.

She was an aide on school buses for special need children, retiring after many years of service.

Marion was an avid bowler, scoring in the high 200’s. Her happiest times though were spent with her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be missed by all.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 12, 2023 from 3:00pm-6:00pm at Thos L. Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Dr., Manahawkin, NJ. A Mass will be held 11:00am Monday, March 13, 2023 at St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church, 100 Bishop Lane, Manahawkin with entombment to follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Beachview Ave., Manahawkin.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Marion’s name may be sent to Deborah Heart & Lung Hospital.
