Mary Ellen DeGeso

Mary Ellen Degeso 64 of Barnegat died Saturday October 15, 2011 in Pomona NJ surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 1, 1947 to the late John and Helen Kinsella of Scotch Plains NJ. She grew up in Scotch Plains NJ. She attended St. Bartholomew the Apositle School and graduated from Scotch Plains – Fanwood High School.

She married Frank DeGeso in March of 1969. Their beloved daughter Michelle DeGeso was Mary Ellen DeGeso (nee Kinsella)

born the following year. She resided in Barnegat NJ until her passing. She was a loving homemaker. She delivered the Asbury Park Press to the senior citizens of Stafford Township and Barnegat for many years.

She was predeceased by her brother Dennis F. Kinsella of Westfield NJ. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Frank DeGeso, and her beloved daughter Michelle DeGeso, her brother John F. Kinsella of Toms River and her three sisters Geraldine Edwards of Willborough NJ, Kathleen Reis of Tewksbury NJ and Maureen Young of Morris Plains NJ. She is also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday October 18th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at Thos L. Shinn funeral home 10 Hilliard Dr. Manahawkin NJ 609-597-7740. Funeral mass will be held October 19, 2011 at 11am at St. Mary’s Church West Bay Ave. Barnegat NJ. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery Manahawkin NJ.
