Mary was born in Scotland, and was a former resident of West Orange, NJ, she resided in Manahawkin for the past 10 years.
Mary is survived by her devoted husband of 36 years, Peter O'Connor, her son Peter, three step-children; Margo, Maureen, and Russell. She is also survived by her three brothers; George, Terry, and Martin, and her sister, Suzanne.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 17, 2015 at 12:00pm at St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church, Bishop Lane, Manahawkin.
Calling hours will be Thursday, July 16, 2015 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm at the Thos L. Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Dr. Manahawkin, NJ.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions to Piece of the Puzzle at Southern Ocean Medical Center, Manahawkin or the St. Vincent DePaul of Manahawkin, in care of St Mary of the Pines Church.
