Michael was predeceased by his beloved parents, James and Madeline Orefice, his beloved son, Michael Orefice Jr., and his cherished sister Marie DeFilippo.
He is survived by his loving children, Madeline and Andrew and his nephew, Bobby DeFilippo.
Michael was a Yankee fan; he enjoyed horseracing; Italian music and food and reading about the old West as well as watching Western movies. His favorite Western actor was John Wayne.
His gentle spirit and warm heart will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his children.
A memorial service will be held at the Thos L. Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Dr., Manahawkin on Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 12:00-2:00. Burial will be private.
