Richard A. Sutterlin Jr., 36, died Sunday, April 17, 2011, as the result of a tragic accident. Born in Toms River, he resided in Manahawkin before recently moving to Galloway. Rich was employed by the Beach Haven Borough Public Works Department.
He is survived by his two children, Allison and Richie; his parents, Rich and Carol Rathbone Sutterlin Sr.; two sisters, Jenn and Lisa; a brother-in-law, Wayne Eslinger; and his nephews, Jacob and Kyle. Also surviving are his aunts and uncles, Shelly and Glenn Liepe, and Darlene and Karl Sutterlin Sr.; his cousins, Karl and David; and his girlfriend, Ashley Saverino.
Rich's family will be receiving visitors from 2 to 4 p.m. 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 25 at the Thos L. Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Drive, Manahawkin. As friends of Rich know, he would want casual attire worn. Please feel free to "come as you are." In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at TD Bank to The Richard A.
