Robert H. VanSciver

Robert was predeceased by his beloved wife Katherine. He is survived by his loving children; Michelle Hillman and her husband John, Carol Ribinsky and her husband Charles, Robert VanSciver and his wife Susan and Jeffery VanSciver and his fiancée Karen. He was a cherished and devoted “Pop” to Christopher, Kyle, Johnny, Alicia, Robert and his wife Ashley, Annabelle, Lily, Olivia and Gabriella.

Robert worked for many years as an Auto Collision Repairman, he then went on to work in maintenance for a local bank. Upon his retirement, Robert was the sole caretaker for his wife Katherine until her passing in 2012.

He enjoyed fishing, shooting, woodworking, and making furniture. Being with his family, especially his grandchildren, was his happiest times, it brought him much joy. He loved giving his grandchildren raspberry kisses which gave them all a big laugh.

The family would like to thank Karen for the care and compassion she gave Robert over the years. She was Robert’s “Angel on Earth” as he loved calling her.
