Robert “Bob” Whealin, of Surf City, NJ, passed away on July 16, 2025. He was 68. Born in Philadelphia, Bob worked for 40 years and recently retired from Simmons Food in Pennsauken, NJ. He enjoyed reading and watching sports, especially the Eagles, Phillies, golf, and auto racing.
He is survived by his two sisters, Regina Shemesh and Joanne (Regan) Matus, nephews Mike, Dan, and Jesse Shemesh, and his close cousins David O’Brien and Nancy Foley. He was predeceased by his parents, Richard and Regina Whealin, and his brother Rick Whealin.
The family plans to remember Bob with a celebration of life at a later date.
