Ronald P Riley, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 12th, in Southern Ocean Medical Center, surrounded by friends and family. He was 65. The eldest son of the late Ronald P. Riley, Sr. and Marjorie Hall, Ron, or Rico, was born in Charlotesville, VA on Feb. 27th 1948. He attended Merchantville High School, where he was a star football player and swimmer, graduating in 1966. He spent most of the last 45 years living on Long Beach Island, where he worked as a carpenter and commercial clammer. He enjoyed fishing and bird watching, and was considered a friend by all that knew him. He was predeceased by his brother Chris, and is survived by his younger sister, Barbara, son, Matthew and wife, Amy and three grandchildren, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.
