For many years my family and i rented the downstairs apartment in august and on weekends in the fall and always looked forward to seeing Russ. He always reminded us of Santa Claus with his radiant smile and jolly laugh. We kept in touch with him for years and took him to lunch whenever we were on LBI.   The pictures were taken in 2014 which was the last time we saw him.  He was a great guy.   We just heard of his passing.   So sorry. Wow 100 years!

Russ was a great neighbor I will forever remember his beautiful  laugh and smile and his jokes and stories about when he used to go to work long ago and about his school and his life  he was such a handsome man and very friendly I will always remember all the bicycles and other presents he gave to me for a really good bargain I will miss his tag sales I never thought I would say this but I miss him storing his stuff in my family garage he was great when he helped my grandmother with the beach house  He was a great man and friend he will be dearly missed by my family and everyone who knew him on 21st St. so sorry to hear this love Chris 

Russ was a great neighbor and a friend to all on 21st St.  I will never forget his sunny disposition and can do attitude.  I will miss him very much and never forget him.
