Beloved husband of Jacqueline (Deppe) for 43 years. Father to daughter Jennifer and her husband David Dumouchel of Boxford, MA , son Stephen and wife Stephanie of Forked River, NJ, and daughter Jacquie of Manahawkin, NJ. Grandfather to Luke and Jocelyn Dumouchel.

He was born in Jersey City to Pauline and Stephen. During WWII he served with the United States Army TECH 5 Company F, 330th Battalion, 83rd Infantry Division where he earned a Purple Heart at the Invasion of Normandy Beach and also at the Battle of the Bulge.

He expanded on his love of photography as part owner of Hudson Camera, a staple of downtown Jersey City, for over 60 years.

In 1996 Stephen, wife Jackie and daughter Jacquie moved to Manahawkin NJ. He was a generous and loving man with an unmatched sense of hospitality with wit and humor to match. Steve will be deeply missed and fondly remembered. .Visitation will be at the Thos L Shinn Funeral Home 10 Hilliard DR Manahawkin NJ 08050 on Tuesday from 5-9Pm a Mass will take place on Wednesday at 11AM at St Mary’s of the Pines in Manahawkin NJ Burial will be at Brig.
