William R Dohrman

William R. Dohrman (Bob), 92, of Manahawkin, NJ passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, September 25, 2021. He was born in Passaic, NJ on November 14, 1928 to the late William and Adele Dohrman.

William was predeceased by his beloved wife of 64 years, Ann (Archer) and his sibling Claire Simon.

He is survived by his loving daughters; Cathy Kelly and her partner Bill Estel, and Karin Kelmartin and her husband Keith. He is also survived by his grandsons; Erik Kelmartin and his wife Jessica, and Patrick Kelmartin and his wife Jennifer, as well as many nieces and nephews.

William was a graduate of Metuchen High School. He was a Marketing Manager for Select Magazines and other publishing distributors.

He was an Army Veteran of World War II who served his country proudly.

William and Ann retired to Atlantic Hills in Manahawkin in 1989 where he was actively involved in the Atlantic Hills community. He was a longtime volunteer at Southern Ocean Medical Center as well a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity in Manahawkin. Along with Ann, William enjoyed his years as an active participant on various committees at the Wright Memorial Presbyterian Church in Barnegat.

Bob was an avid reader, enjoyed golf and loved his Rutgers football team. The times spent with his family and friends was his greatest joy. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
