I have been trying to contact Alan for quite some time now. I have searched his name every so often and today I thought about him and found this. 
He was a great friend and we had many great times together. We frequently would  "belly up at the buffet " his words. Went sailing on my boat, shopping for cars, would drop off and pick him up at the airport when he went to Aruba. He met my family and friends and all liked him I'm surprised that I didn't find any other information about him or comments about what he was going through. I know the loss of his mother was hard on him and that was when he fell off the radar. 
I'll miss him wish I knew about his funeral.
