The family needs all the love you all can share. When something like this happens, it takes a long time for everyone to be ok.
Life goes on, but it will never be the same. You will call, text, or want to see Alex, and he cannot answer.
But I believe he is in Heaven, knowing that all who love him will never forget what he meant to all who knew him.
We will all have to go through all stages of mourning, before coming to the realization of what happened.
Please stay close, and realize how important you all are to help Alex’s friends and family to heal.
Alex, we will continue to carry on your legacy and your contributions.
Rest In Peace and Love

I grew up with Alex in Marlboro and always remember him as a sweet, kind, beautiful person. I remember him at my bat mitzvah so long ago tearing up the dance floor, our texting conversations over the years, and even a few years back at Rosalitas - a little reunion with some Marlboro people. Alex will be missed dearly. He was everything and more you’d look for in a person. My deepest condolences to the Nalven family.
