Alice Goldstein

Alice Goldstein, 89 years of Manalapan, N.J. died on Tuesday May 27, 2014 at Centra State Medical Center in Freehold, N.J. Born in New York City and raised in the Bronx, N.Y. she later Moved to Brooklyn, N.Y. in the 1970’s where she remained before moving to the Covered Bridge Development of Manalapan, N.J. 12 years ago.Mrs. Goldstein was a receptionist for the Y.M.H.A. in Brooklyn, N.Y. for many years and was a sales person for E.J. Korvettes department store in New York City. She was a member of the Union Hill Congregation in Manalapan, N.J.

She was predeceased by her loving husband Sidney Goldstein in 2008. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law Hal Goldstein and Barbara Stone Goldstein of Manalapan, her sister Sarah Matlowsky and her granddaughters Erika and Allison.Services will be held at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels,44 Wilson Ave., Manalapan, N.J. on Thursday May 29, 2014 At 12:00PM .Interment will follow at New Montefiore Cemetery Farmingdale, N.Y.
