Allan Stephen Hornstein, 89, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Cooper University Medical Center, Camden, NJ. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Allan lived in Matawan, NJ for 30 years before moving to Manchester for 26 years and then finally to Moorestown.
Allan was a marketing executive at Clairol in NY before starting his own sales and marketing business in Matawan NJ. Allan was an avid golfer and lifelong fan of the NY Yankees and Giants. He was a devoted father who was active in the YMCA Indian Guides with his young sons, rising to the rank of Medicine Man and Chief of the Raritan Nation of Indian Guides.
Allan was predeceased by his brother Lawrence and his sister Carol Bloch.
Allan is survived by his wife of 61 years Elaine Moran Hornstein, his sons Jeff Hornstein, and Neil Hornstein and his wife Sharon, and his grandsons Reese and Chase.
