Anita was the beloved daughter of Alex and Reda Lindenbaum and the devoted wife of 59 years to Herb Lichter. She was an amazing, loving mother to Suzy and Tara, who were the pride and joy of her life, and to her grand pup Harley, who never left her side. She was predeceased by her two older sisters, Marcia and Cece.
Anita will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and devotion to her family, as well as her friendliness to every new person she met in a doctor's office, store, or around town. Anita was also an amazing cook and baker, and anyone who knew her was graced by her connection to a good meal or sweet treat. Her recipes are her legacy of love.
A funeral service will be held at Mount Sinai Cemetery and Mausoleum (374 Hwy 79, Marlboro Township) on Sunday, October 4, at 11:00 AM. The period of mourning will be observed at the Lichter residence following the funeral.
