We remember Barbara with so many smiles. She was a wonderful friend to our family and Selma loved her very much! Barbara taught both Richard and his son Matthew to swim and her legendary discussions with Arnold over household repairs with Herb are on par with classic comedy routines! We didn’t know she had passed away and we’re very sorry for your entire family.

I am Judy Perlman Wolinetz.  Your Mom & I knew each other from the days when our parent's took their families to Mountaindale, NY to get out of the summer heat of The Bronx, where we were from & Brooklyn where they were from.  I was looking for the ABC girls, as they were known for years on Facebook, to no avail, but, your Mom was also, looking for me & she was the one to make the discovery about 5/6 years ago.  When we spoke, it was as if no years, & there were many, were we were not in touch.  In fact, the  last time we connected was when we both were about 16 & met in NYC to see a movie together!  After the first connection, we spoke several times a week & laughed often, also, speaking of many important subjects as you age.  We met one time for lunch at a Friday's & had a good time.  That was where she gave me the above picture of us back in Mountaindale.  Mom is in the two piece bathing suit, I am a bit behind her, Aunt Carol is up front with her hands on her hips, & two other kids are in the background...She will always be in a special place in my heart, & I will never forget her. We spoke on Monday evening & she sounded a bit tired, then I saw Debi's note on FB...how sad we all are! She surely was a Rock Star as Debi had posted on various occasions. Yes, she loved her family so much & was so happy to be near to them for these years.  My sincere sorrow & condolences to the entire family & just remember all the happy times you shared.

Dearest Debi, Jenna, Adam, and David, We are shocked and saddened to know your mom/grandmother/mil, Barbara, has passed.  Please know we are thinking of you and express our deepest sympathies. I can only imagine how you must be feeling. I will always remember her, fondly, as Bubbles!
