Bertrum is survived by his wife, Rita Herling; daughter Jessica (Paul) Gancz-Morganville, NJ; and son Steven (Patricia) Herling-Huntington, NY; and 6 grandchildren.
Services will be at Baron Hirsch Cemetery 1126 Richmond Avenue Staten Island, New York on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.
The Period of Mourning will be observed at the residence as follows: Tuesday following the burial and Wednesday: 1:00 pm-4:00 pm, 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
