Bertrum Herling, age 84, of Monroe Township, New Jersey passed away on Sunday June 10, 2018. Bertrum was born August 27, 1933 in Bronx, New York.

Bertrum is survived by his wife, Rita Herling; daughter Jessica (Paul) Gancz-Morganville, NJ; and son Steven (Patricia) Herling-Huntington, NY; and 6 grandchildren.

Services will be at Baron Hirsch Cemetery 1126 Richmond Avenue Staten Island, New York on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.

The Period of Mourning will be observed at the residence as follows: Tuesday following the burial and Wednesday: 1:00 pm-4:00 pm, 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bertrum's memory may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, www.jdrf.org.
