Born in Brooklyn, she spent most of her life in North Brunswick, where she raised her family.
Prior to retiring, she was the Director of LNI, an early intervention program funded by Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.
Carole enjoyed her retirement by spending time at her beach house in Long Beach Island, where she loved to take long walks on the beach collecting sea glass. She also enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, pottery, traveling and yoga. More than anything, she was devoted to her family.
Surviving is her loving husband of 57 years, Sheldon; three children: Ellen Goldstein and her husband Andy, Andrew Kass and his wife Janice, and Laura Mullins and her husband Fred; and eight grandchildren: Lyndsay, Corey, Tyler, Jonathan, David, Sam, Lillian and Sergio.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11AM at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan. Interment will immediately follow at Floral Park Cemetery, South Brunswick.
