Charlotte Kobran Zwicker, age 88, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, died in her home in Monroe Township, New Jersey on May 14, 2020.

Charlotte Tooter, the only daughter of Henrietta Zarkin and Maurice Herman Tooter, was born in New York City in 1931. By age 4, Charlotte, her brother Jerry and parents moved to New Jersey where she resided for the rest of her life. She was a proud graduate of Weequahic High School, where she retained lifelong friendships.

When she was 19 years old, she married Saul Kobran in Irvington, New Jersey, on February 22, 1951. Charlotte and Saul had four children, and eventually settled in Fords. After Saul passed away in 1976, Charlotte continued working and raising her four children. In 1991 she married Murray Zwicker. Charlotte and Murray loved to travel and attend shows in New York City. Murray passed away in 2009.

Charlotte loved spending time with her family as it grew and added new generations of family members. She also was an avid reader and loved a challenging crossword puzzle.

Charlotte is survived by her son Alan Kobran and his wife Kit, son Mitchell Kobran and his wife Kathy Carmody, son Slade Kobran and his wife Cindy, and daughter Holly Deitz and her husband Robert. Her grandchildren include Shannon Kobran, Melanie Kobran, Dan Carmody, Corey Carmody, Sawyer Deitz, Hayley Deitz, Michael Deitz. Taylor Cruz and her husband David, and Jason Kobran and his wife Mary. She was also a great grandmother with grandchildren Charlotte Kobran, Violet Kobran, and (less than a month old) Lucy Kobran.

Charlotte will be buried with her beloved husband Saul and her parents at the Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in Iselin, New Jersey. A memorial service will be scheduled for a later date.

My Aunt Charlotte took Alan and I to N.Y. City to see a movie. The Brothers Grimm on a very large screen. I was quite impressed. After that she took us to dinner at a Chinese Restaurant. Then we walked around and she gave me some money to buy my mother a gift. . It was so very special to me. I will never forget that day. I love Aunt Charlotte and always will. As a family we would visit Uncle Saul & Aunt Charlotte. That was always fun, well except for working on the "hill". I love you Aunt Charlotte & I miss you already. Harvey
