Claudia was special in many ways. With family and friends, she just had a way about her that made everyone feel good. Her energy and generous nature was contagious.
And while she was sight impaired --- that would never stop her from living life to the fullest. I always said that Claudia can see better than most. She was just an amazing person.

You will be missed.... You were the "BEST" !

With Love,
Peter Bruno

I met Claudia, years ago as a member of the New Jersey Blind Citizens Association. She sponsored an Art Program for Camp Happiness participants and brought in volunteers to help members participate. She also sponsored and supplied an indoor gardening program where the members were instructed on how to grow herbs and flowers. Claudia organized a "Dining in the Dark" event at a local banquet hall. Non-blind diners were blindfolded to truly experience "dining in the dark". For entertainment, she hired a comedian and a DJ and encouraged everyone to dance. Lastly, Claudia sponsored a pool party and barbecue at her home for Camp participants and volunteers.
I just want to say that Claudia brought a spark of enthusiasm and happiness to our group for which I am truly appreciative.
Thank you Claudia and rest in peace.

Unfortunately I only knew Claudia for about 3 years. I met her at a fair for the visually impaired and she immediately agreed to teach me how to use my I-phone (not an easy job). We laughed and talk and somehow along the way she taught me the I-phone. Claudia gave of her time and of herself to countless people. She was funny, caring and fiercely independent. I will miss her!
