Daniel is survived by; daughter Susan (Eric) Bernbach-Roseland, NJ; and son David (Nicole) Segalowitz-West Palm Beach, FL; brother Stanley (Georgia) Segalowitz- Atlanta, GA and brother Jeffrey (Cheryl) Segalowitz-Brooklyn, NY; Four Granddaughters.
Daniel was preceded in death by his wife: The late Eleanor (December, 2011).
Born in Brooklyn, he lived in Staten Island, NY before moving to Jackson, NJ in 2002.
He was a graduate of SUNY, New Paltz, NY , 1962.
He was a Social Studies Teacher in IS#7 Staten Island NY for over 34 years, retiring in 1996.
A funeral service for Daniel will be held Friday, September 7, 2018 from 11:00 AM at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan, NJ 07726. Following the funeral service will be a burial at 12:30 PM at Beth Israel Cemetey, 1000 WOODBRIDGE CENTER DR, WOODBRIDGE, New Jersey 07095-1314.
The Period of Mourning will be observed at his late residence as follows: Friday following the burial until 7:30pm, Minyan at 7 pm, Saturday, 7-9pm, Minyan at 7pm., and Sunday 11am to 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Daniel's memory may be made to Any Animal Rescue Organization.
