It is september 13th and I was looking to send Diane a message to find out how she did in the storm.  I just discovered that she passed away in August.  Diane was a very very lovely warm and precious person.   She will always be remembered by my family as a great friend and the person to see anya form her first words! May her memory be a blessing.

Diane was my very first friend probably, around age 4. Our dad's were in the Navy together and when asked how long we had been friends we would say that we "were friends before we were born". Diane, Mark, Lee, Harriet, Mr. Petrical, Tiger, Arthur and the entire gang were a part of my growing up, like family. That says it all. Diane was a most unusual person. Not a mean or untrusting bone in her body. Completely kind, compassionate and lover of animals and all living things. I am so grateful that my mother and I were able to have lunch with her (Mark and Harriet) this winter. She was the same happy, sweet, fun friend that I had at age 4. My dear wonderful first friend, Diane has made an indelible mark on my life and heart (as did her entire family). My heart felt condolences to Harriet and Mark and the Jacobson family. Hoping that wonderful memories will bring some peace and solace.

I am so very sorry for your loss.  Diane lived in my home in Key West.  She was a very loving and caring person.  I will miss her dearly. RIP Diane......

Diane's love of life & friends was contagious - I will always cherish my times with her. May God grant you peace in your hearts through your precious memories of her.
