Born in Brooklyn ,N.Y. to parents Sol and Hilda. He was a Spanish Teacher at Lincoln High School, Brooklyn, New York for 37 years He often ran into his former students who adored him for his sense of humor and memorable teaching.
He was a veteran of the Army serving in Korea.
He is survived by his partner Dillies Pilevsky, with her children Andre Pilevsky and his wife Sharon Weinberg of San Diego, CA. and Dr. Nicole Pilevsky with her husband Dr. Joey Osheroff of Columbia, MD., with grandchildren, Mason and Rina Pilevsky and Samuel, Daniel and Nathan Osheroff .
A wonderful renaissance man full of life, loved learning, traveling, family and language. A brilliant man of great courage.
