Elaine Friedell

Elaine was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1934 where she would ultimately stay most of her life. From Cunningham Junior High School, to Madison High School, to Brooklyn College, and years later completing her Masters Degree back at Brooklyn College, education was always very important to her. She married in 1957 and stayed together with husband Lee for 63 years until his death in 2020.

Her first "career job" was as an elementary school teacher in the early to mid 70's, and then switched careers and became an Executive Assistant in the finance industry until she retired in the early 90's. In 2025 she moved to Monroe, NJ to be closer to her beloved family. She is survived by her two children, five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and sister.

A Funeral Service will be held at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan, NJ on Monday, April 3, 2026, at 10:00 am. Friends and extended family should arrive between 9:15 am and 9:45 am for the 10:00 am service time.

Burial will follow at Beth Moses Cemetery, 1500 Wellwood Ave, West Babylon, NY 11704, US, on April 3, 2026, at 1:00 pm.

The Memorial Gathering will be at the residence of Robbin and Ron on Sunday and Tuesday 12:00 pm-3:00 pm, 7:00 pm-9:00 pm. Also, at the residence of Harris and Aimee Friedell on Monday 12:00 pm-3:00 pm, 7:00 pm-9:00 pm.
