Emlyne B. Newman

Lee B. Newnan, 72 years of Marlboro, N.J. passed away at Sunrise Assisted Living of Marlboro on Monday June 26, 2017.Born in Brooklyn to the late Maxwell and Norma Sommer, she lived in Marlboro for many years. Mrs. Newman began her career as a teacher in the New York Public School System, and later was a realtor for Weichert Realtors, Marlboro. She was a member of Marlboro Jewish Center. Surviving are her husband James; her children Merrie Samilow and her husband Joshua of Marlboro, Cindy Barry and her husband Peter of Mill Valley, CA, and Bradley Galen of Marlboro; her step-children Matthew Newman and his wife Jennifer of Roswell, GA and Danielle Schlossmacher and her husband Peter of Cummings, GA; her sister Sonia Brambier and her husband Michael of Marlboro; and her grandchildren: Michael, Madison and Machenzie Samilow, Griffin and Noah Barry, Taylor Galen, and Ryan and Cameron SanFilippo. Funeral Services will be held on June 27, 2017 at 9:30AM at the chapel at Marlboro Mausoleum, 361 Route 79 North, Marlboro.
