Florence Wertheim

Florence is survived by her daughter Susan(Mike Stark) Autuoro, her sister Elaine (Harvey) Markfield, sister Jeannie (Ira) Schoulder, and her grandsons Michael and Alex Autuoro. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews and many friends/neighbors from her community.

Florence was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jules (Julie)Wertheim and son Steven Wertheim. She was also preceded in death by her son in law Bruno Autuoro.

Florence was a devoted mother who advocated for her son Steven with special needs for his entire life until he died in 2022.

Florence enjoyed participating in activities in her community with the many friends she made over the years . She played Mahjong, Canasta and created beautiful 3D art pictures .She loved attending the many shows, lunches and dinners at her clubhouse. She was a member of ORT and Hadassah and enjoyed their events. Florence loved to cook and go shopping whether it was a supermarket, mall or flea market.

Florence will always be remembered for her kindness , devotion to her family, fierce independence and loving heart. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Graveside Services for Florence will be held Sunday, March 2, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Beth Israel Cemetery, 1098 Woodbridge Center Dr, Woodbridge Township, NJ 07095.

The family will be sitting shiva at Susan's home on Sunday from 2-5pm, and 6-8pm, and Monday and Tuesday from 1-5pm, and 6-8pm each day.
