

Harold N. Solat, 83, of Monroe Township. passed away on August 1, 2024 at University of Massachusetts Medical Center, Worcester, MA. Harold was born and raised in Brooklyn NY; he resided in Manalapan Township, NJ before he moved to Monroe Township. He was a Science teacher for the NY City Board of Education and Prospect Park Yeshiva for Girls, both in Brooklyn, NY. He was highly respected and loved by many.
Surviving him is his wife of 62 years, Sheila, his daughter Shari Rose, his son Robert Solat and wife Suzanne. Also surviving Harold are his five grandchildren: Rachel Kidd and her husband Matthew, Jonathan Rose, Erica Georgian and her husband Matthew, Brandon Rose and David Solat, as well as 2 great-grandsons, Joseph and Jaxon Kidd.
Harold battled for many years with chronic heart disease. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Harold’s name to the National Heart Association.
Funeral services will be held Monday August 5th at 11AM at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Ave, Manalapan, NJ followed by his burial at Congregation Sons of Israel Cemetery, Englishtown.
Shiva will be held at the home of Harold and Sheila at 6 Country Club Dr., Monroe Township, NJ 08831.
