Harvey Richard Weiss, 83, passed on Thursday June 4, 2026 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank,NJ. Born in Brooklyn, NY he resided in Brooklyn, NY, Bronx, NY, Durham, NC, and Matawan, NJ before moving to Holmdel, New Jersey.
Harvey was a scientist for Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ.
He was predeceased by his first wife Sandra Weiss.
Surviving is his wife Lucy Weiss, his daughter Johanna Weiss and her husband Aril Anster, her son Andrew Weiss and wife Vielka Kelly-Weiss, his sister Elaine Singer, and his grandchildren Eden, Samson, M. Waverly, and Wyatt.
Funeral services will be held 1pm on Sunday June 7, 2026 at Bloomfield Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Ave, Manalapan, NJ. Extended family and friends should arrive between 12:15 pm and 12:45 pm to pay their respects to the family prior to the funeral service. Burial will follow at Mt. Sinai Cemetery, 374 Rt 79, Marlboro, NJ
Shiva will be held after services at the Weiss residence, 4 Clark Way, Holmdel, NJ
