Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Herman lived his retirement in Monroe Township, New Jersey.
Herman Panensky celebrated an extraordinary 50 year career as a high school teacher, first in public high school in Brooklyn and later at private school Yeshivas in New Jersey.
Herman was an intellectual. He was a patriot. He was a kind and gentle man. Above everything, Herman was a loving, devoted husband, hands-on father and proud grandfather.
Born to the late Harry and Betty Panensky, Herman leaves behind to honor his memory and carry on his legacy his loving wife Wendy, his beloved children Stuart and his wife Alicia, Herman’s three cherished grandchildren, Maryssa, Alexander and Jack, and Howard and his wife Theresa, and their baby on the way.
Private graveside services will be held at Floral Park Cemetery, South Brunswick and also available via Zoom.
