Howard G. Rothman

Howard, a Korean War Veteran, is survived by his spouse Arlene Rothman of 64 years; son Steven Rothman and his wife Beth; son Marc Rothman and his wife Valerie; son Jonathan Rothman and his wife Stacey; and 8 grandchildren: Matthew and his fiancé Logan, Emily, Reeve, Kate, Luke, Ryan, Ben, and Evan.

He was kindhearted, considerate and thoughtful man who thoroughly enjoyed his grandchildren, especially watching them on the ballfields.

Howard was preceded in death by his parents William and Jessie Rothman; brother Leonard Rothman and his wife Helen; and brother Phillip Rothman and his wife Helen.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan, New Jersey 07726 followed by a committal service at 12:30 PM at Beth Israel Cemetery, 1098 Woodbridge Center Drive, Woodbridge, New Jersey 07095.

The funeral service was livestreamed via Zoom.

Shiva will be observed at the residence of Jonathan and Stacey on Thursday after the committal service until 9:00 PM; on Friday from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM; and on Sunday from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Shiva will also be observed at the residence of Steven and Beth on Saturday from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Monday from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
