I first met Irene a few years ago when she joined our tennis team at Fiddler’s Creek in Naples called The Alley Cats. Irene loved being a part of the team and we loved having her! She was always enthusiastic, extremely supportive and gave it her all. If she wasn’t playing she was a great cheerleader. Irene taught me to be positive and optimistic and just happy to be there with her and my team mates. Getting to know her wonderful husband Steve was an added bonus for my husband Charlie and me. I will miss her very much.

To the family of Irene...we are so sorry for your great loss. We have had the pleasure to live in the same neighborhood and socialize together. It was so fun to visit with Steve,Irene,Joyce and Howard in our hometown in NH last summer. It was a very special time. We will never forget “Our Friend Irene”. She will be so missed by all who had the pleasure to have met her.

Irene was my childhood friend for many years growing up in Southard.
She lived across the street from my dad's store for many years, then moving to a chicken farm I believe was on Friendship Road.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time of grieving.
May her memory be for a blessing.
